Skywatch Friday

Photos taken across the street from where I live. I took these photos this past Monday morning when it was approx. 15 degrees outside. Despite the bitter cold, I was drawn to the outdoors when I saw the color of the sky.

This is the first time I have participated in Sky Watch Friday and the first time I have purposely taken pictures of the sky. One interesting thing I noticed was that the pictures came out better using flash. I usually avoid using flash when I take photos because it tends to ruin them. Not this time though. Another new thing I learned this week.

Cool! I love the top one, the dark clouds and the tangerine sky (sounds like an old Beatles song!)

You caught very dramatic skies beautifully! I love your blog name and your bird photos.

Interesting pictures and thanks for including music that needs to be turned ON -- I hate blogs that play music automatically.

Great shots! Sunrises and Sunsets can be so colorful. It was black in Juneau at 7:30 - clouds, spitting a little snow.

Have a good day.
