As far as I am aware, all Greylag Geese in North America are domestic escapees. Hybridization is common with the Canada Geese.

You want to see a bird with a complex, Google Greylag x Canada Goose, some really strange looking birds show up.MaineBirderhttp://www.birdingmaine.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3770651210715066081.post-63455262065127196972009-04-11T01:09:00.000-04:002009-04-11T01:09:00.000-04:00Maybe it is just a lonesome goose. Canada Geese do look beautiful, but the Graylag Goose has it's own good qualities.

The Graylag should learn to appreciate it's uniqueness in the flock of Canada Geese. Then it will see it is beautiful in it's own way. :)Rick (Ratty)https://www.blogger.com/profile/04062449024949497557noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3770651210715066081.post-47116117595783422732009-04-10T22:04:00.000-04:002009-04-10T22:04:00.000-04:00You have me laughing now!
